Sara de la Rica
Economist
Bilbao (Spain), 1963. Sara de la Rica is Full Professor of Foundations of Economic Analysis II at the Department of Economics of the University of the Basque Country. She is currently Director of the Fuentes Quintana Chair by the Foundation for Applied Economics Studies FEDEA (Bank of Spain). She is also a member of the Advisory Council of ANECA, Research Fellow in CreAM (Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration), Research Fellow in IZA (Institute for the Study of Labor), as well as coeditor of the IZA Journal of European Labor Studies. Her main research interests are Gender and the Labour Market, The Economics of Immigration and Education and Labour Market Institutions. Since march 2017 she is a member of the Board of Directors of Iberdrola España.
