Research Professor ad honorem at the C.S.I.C. (Spanish National Research Center) in the Institute of Philosophy. He has a PhD from the Wilhems-Universität of Münster and from Universidad Autónoma of Madrid. He has been the director of the Institute of Philosophy and the main researcher of the project “La filosofía después del Holocausto”. He has written many books, among others: Medianoche en la historia, Tratado de la Injusticia, La piedra desechada, and El tiempo, tribunal de la historia. He also writes articles in El País, El Periódico de Catalunya and El Norte de Castilla newspapers.

He has a degree in History by the University of Deusto (2003) and a PhD in Contemporary History by the University of the Basque Country (2012). He is in charge of the the Archive, Research and Documentation area of The Fundación Centro para la Memoria de las Víctimas del Terrorismo (Victims of Terrorism Memorial Centre in The Basque Country). He has written many books and writes articles in El Correo newspaper and many academic magazines.
