Es programadora del Instituto Lumière desde hace dos décadas, la entidad francesa dirigida por el director del Festival de Cannes, Thierry Frémaux, encargada de conservar, restaurar y difundir el cine clásico. Afirma que hasta este momento en el que la manera de consumir del espectador se ha transformado con tanta oferta audiovisual en casa, no había sentido tan fuerte la necesidad de cambiar la forma de programar y comunicar de las filmotecas. A su juicio, “no hay que rechazar las plataformas, hay que mostrarles que nuestra convicciones son las ideales”.

Director of the Basque Film Library since December 2010 and member of the San Sebastián International Film Festival Management Committee since January 2011, he is a tenured lecturer (currently on extended leave of absence) at the University of Nantes and a specialist in Contemporary History and the History of Film. He has a PhD from the University of Zaragoza and the University of Nantes, writing his co-supervised doctoral thesis on Film and the Civil War in the Basque Country (1936-2006).
